Twin Brothers Seriously Hurt In Single-Vehicle DWI Crash On Long Island, Police Say

Two twin brothers are seriously injured following a suspected DWI crash on Long Island.

The single-vehicle wreck happened at around 3:45 a.m. Wednesday, July 19, in Huntington Station, according to Suffolk County Police.

Investigators said Terhon Legros, age 28, was driving an Infiniti Q50 westbound on West 11th Street when he lost control and struck a utility pole near Oakwood Road.

Legros and his twin brother Terrell, both of Huntington Station, were taken by ambulance to Huntington Hospital with serious injuries, police said.

Terhon Legros was later arrested on suspicion of driving while intoxicated. He is expected to be arraigned at a later date.

Detectives are asking anyone who may have witnessed the crash to call the Suffolk County Police Department at 631-854-8252.
